What we store on your device, why, and how to say no. We keep this deliberately minimal — there are no advertising networks and no third-party trackers on this website.

1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage and pixels — do much the same job. Together they let a website remember something between one page and the next.
Cookies are described as first-party when set by the website you are visiting, and third-party when set by another organisation. They are session cookies if they disappear when you close the browser, and persistent if they survive until they expire or you delete them.
2. The rules we work to
We operate under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) and the UK GDPR. Under PECR we may set strictly necessary cookies without your consent, because the website cannot function without them. Everything else — analytics, preferences that are not essential, and anything used for marketing — requires your consent before it is set.
That is why the notice appears at the bottom of the screen on your first visit. Optional storage is not written until you press Accept cookies. Pressing Reject optional leaves the website fully usable — nothing is withheld from you for declining.
3. What this website actually uses
Very little. The current build sets the following, and nothing else:

Both entries are stored in your browser's local storage rather than as traditional cookies. They stay on your device, they contain no personal information, and they are never transmitted to us or to anyone else.
If you accept, what changes?
At present, nothing additional is set — we have not deployed an analytics tool on this build. If we add measurement in future, this page will be updated before it goes live, and the tag will only ever load for readers who have accepted. Your existing choice will be re-requested if the purposes materially change.
4. What we do not use
- No advertising or retargeting cookies. We do not run ad networks and we do not build advertising audiences from your visit.
- No social media trackers. There are no embedded feeds, share widgets or like buttons that phone home.
- No profiling across the web. We do not follow you from one website to another, and we do not sell or share data with data brokers.
- No fingerprinting. We do not attempt to identify your device by its configuration.
- No session recording or heatmaps. We do not record your mouse movements, scrolling or keystrokes.
5. Third parties
Fonts. This website loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. That means your browser makes a request to Google's servers, which necessarily discloses your IP address to them as a technical requirement of delivering the file. Google states that it does not set cookies for the Google Fonts service. If you would prefer to avoid this entirely, the typefaces can be self-hosted — contact us and we will tell you where the deployment is up to.
Operator websites. When you follow an outbound link to a casino brand, you leave this website and enter theirs. From that moment their cookie policy applies, not ours, and they will typically set cookies including ones that record which website referred you. We have no control over this. Read the operator's own cookie and privacy notices before you proceed, and see our Disclosure page for how referral tracking works.
Hosting. Our hosting provider processes standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested page, user agent) for security and reliability. This is not done with cookies. It is covered in our Privacy Policy.
6. Changing your mind
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time, and it should be as easy to withdraw as it was to give. Use the button below to clear your stored choice and bring the notice back.
If the button does nothing, your browser is blocking local storage — in which case nothing was stored in the first place, and the notice will simply reappear on each visit.
7. Browser-level controls
You can also block or delete cookies and local storage directly in your browser. Be aware that blocking everything will break parts of most websites — including, on this one, our ability to remember that you did not want to be asked again.

8. Changes to this policy
